WE'VE MOVED UP FROM AUGUST TO JUNE FOR 2024!
JUNE 22, 8 am to 12 pm in Romeo
We just couldn't wait another 12 whole months to host the 9th Annual "Bike or Hike for Life" and so this year we rolled (or strolled) into Summer on June 22 instead of mid-August!
A great time was had by all on the grounds of St. Clement Church in Romeo. Check-in began at 8:00 a.m. Cyclists and walkers, and joggers hit the Macomb-Orchard Trail on a pristine Saturday summer morning. Picnic lunch was served at 11:00 a.m. under sunny skies and light breeze.
The trifold brochure at the bottom of this page contains all the pertinent details for our biggest fundraiser of the year.
We raised about $4,000 to support various educational initiatives, such as local prolife billboards and the Right to Life of Michigan Education Fund.
The date for our 10th Annual "Bike or Hike for Life" will be announced soon!

WHAT IS BIKE OR HIKE FOR LIFE ALL ABOUT?
Fun! Fellowship! Fundraising for LIFE! Details for individual, team, and group registrations and a full itinerary are in the downloadable pledge form at the bottom of this page.
Your summertime Saturday's are precious, so we'll get an early start on the trail and then enjoy a picnic lunch, all by the time the clock strikes 12 noon! Then it's on with the rest of your day.
GET THOSE PLEDGES!
Half the fun is building your team of those behind-the-scene individuals who support you with their financial pledge, which could be a certain amount per mile that you cycle/walk/jog or a flat figure. Either way, your experience will be more rewarding when you aren't blazing the trail alone!
FORM A TEAM!
Assemble a team of family and friends, commission them to solicit pledges, and then hit the Macomb-Orchard Trail together. Your fun (and fund-raising) will increase in multiples. Be sure to give your team a cool nickname, too!
THANK YOU to all who have participated in previous years -- everyone who cycled and all the volunteers and sponsors who make this event possible. A special debt of gratitude is extended to event coordinator Nancy P., to "Charlie Hustle", whose vision and hard work founded "Bike for Life" in 2016, and to Rev. Stephen Rekker at St. Clement Church for allowing us to meet on the grounds and use the facilities.
